A special mention from all of us at WCGG to Sarah, Steven and their family for not only coming up with the idea for holding the Community Halloween Event, but also for all their dedication to Winchburgh for the volunteering work they have taken on this year to help start a community garden for all to enjoy.
With such dedication and the well known Winchburgh community spirit, all it took was an idea....
Thus the yearly Community Halloween Event held at Auldcathie park was formed.
The Idea
A yearly free Community Halloween Event held in Auldcathie park supported by local businesses and run by local volunteers as a night of community fun and games. A great way for local businesses and groups to get involved in to show visitors of whats available in the local area.
With an amazing turn out for the first years event, we are looking forward to next years one which will be bigger and better. Here are a few images of the night...
