Winchburgh Greenspaces

Winchburgh Greenspaces has been launched in partnership with WDL to keep residents and visitors involved on current and future development of green areas as part of our ongoing commitment to help tackle global warming.

Auldcathie Park

Once fully open the park will be over 84 acres for visitors to enjoy. Phase 1B has been successfully completed with the opening of the community growing area, dog park and the community woodland.

Daisy Park

Currently in the consultation and planning stage for the development of Daisy Park, home of the historic brickworks into a park which reflects the past and welcomes the future of Winchburgh.

As part of WDL greenspaces initiative they also support local community groups that have the same envision for a very green Winchburgh.

Winchburgh Wombles

You can alway see volunteers out wombling to help keep Winchburgh clean with over 734hrs volunteering and over 447 bags of rubbish collected in 2021.

Winchburgh Community Growing Group

Join the Winchburgh Growing Group who have over 50 planters around the community, 2 orchards and 1.5 acres of land supported by WDL in Auldcathie Park
